Das Befüllen der deutschen Gasflasche stellt uns vor eine neue Herausforderung:
Tankstellen ist es Verboten Flaschen zu befüllen. Zwar sagt uns ein Tankstellwart, dass das kein Problem darstelle, aber befüllen will er uns die Flasche nicht, weil die Tankstelle gerade zu habe. „Aber sie sind doch da“ radebrechen wir, „ja, Befüllen ist kein Problem, aber die Tankstelle sei jetzt geschlossen“, da hilft es auch nicht, dass der Mann mit seinem Kollegen an der Kasse sitzt . . .
Die nette Dame von ADAC Italia benötigt vier Stunden, uns für Cagliari zwei Adressen zu schicken, wo wir angeblich unsere Flasche befüllen können . . .
An jeder Adresse werden wir weitergeschickt und lernen so nicht nur Cagliaris historischen Zentrum kennen, sondern auch die Außenbezirke.
Nach drei Stunden im Nachmittagsverkehr und diversen Hinterhoflädchen mit freundlichem Personal, das uns nur weiterhelfen kann, in dem es uns auf weitere kleine Hinterhofläden verweist, die auch nichts tun können oder wollen, reift in uns die folgende These heran (wenn gleich diese noch nicht letztgültig belegt ist):
Vermutlich verweigern sich Italiener aus historischen Gründen, deutsche Gasflaschen zu befüllen. Gas in deutschen Händen …
Wir vertagen das Problem, wissend das wir noch einige Tage Zeit zur Lösung haben und in der Hoffnung, in Sizilien weniger strikte Gesetzte anzutreffen . . .
Langsam verschwindet Cagliari im Abendrot und wir verlassen Sardinien voller Dankbarkeit für eine schöne Zeit . . .
